The SEquencing after Amplicon enriCHment for TB (SEARCH-TB) assay is a targeted, highly sensitive, pathogen-specific sequencing method for quantifying M. tuberculosis (Mtb) transcriptome. SEARCH-TB is designed to amplify Mtb signal in biological specimens with an overwhelming eukaryotic background. In this project, we demonstrate the utility of SEARCH-TB in mice treated for two or four weeks with the global standard combination regimen (isoniazid, rifampin, pyrazinamide, ethambutol [HRZE]). The two tabs featured in the shiny app below: (1) generate heatmaps for subcategories and (2) calculate differential expression and allow downloads of data.
